This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to excel in the dynamic field of cybersecurity and achieve the CompTIA Security+ certification.
Part 1 is designed to understand the theoretical part of cybersecurity, while Part 2 is fully hands-on skill-based. In this course, the JSS team will also add custom labs occasionally, but the whole focus of part 1 is to understand the concepts and important information via video lectures

Note: We assume that JSS members taking this course already possess foundational IT knowledge or have worked in the IT field for at least 6 months prior to enrolling. We also recommend that our members first complete the foundational cybersecurity courses before starting this course. This is the third course in the Cybersecurity track, and the first course members should finish is “Networking Fundamentals for Cybersecurity” followed by CompTIA Linux+ (XK0-005). By completing the prerequisite courses, you will have a better understanding of Security+ hands-on content, especially in networking and the use of Linux.
