My name is Ben and I’m currently working as house manager for a privately owned theatre in Arlington, MA. I enjoy my job and although I’ve been working in the theater business for over thirteen years, I’m now looking to accomplish something new, within IT support.
I recently completed Google’s IT Support Professional Certificate and it took me approximately six months to complete. I’m fairly new to IT and even though completing the Google’s course gave me confidence and IT skills, I’m still aware that a certificate doesn’t exactly equate to real world IT issues. I really enjoy helping people and I have excellent customer service experience, which will help me immensely in the IT field. I’m still looking to acquire IT support skills because I want to be as ready as possible for whichever company I work for.
How did I discover jobskillshare.org? After researching “Imaging your computer,” I found a link to jobskillshare.org. After I visited jobskillshare.org, I felt as though I stumbled upon the greatest thing ever. I believe there’s a wealth of IT skills and support within their courses. I’m still deciding whether to purchase the premium package, but I’m still going to go through the free courses, regardless.
