Introduction to Windows 11

Hello and welcome members introduction to Windows 11. And in this following video series we are going to give you the understanding and the foundation of Windows 11, what changes we have in the Windows 11 because there are a number of Windows 10 user out there in the market and Windows 10 has been introduced for a long while and people use the Windows 10, the IT professional use the Windows 10 a lot. But when we talk about the Windows 11 and you know, when it comes to the market, so there are all so many cushion raised and so many curries were there and people were wondering that what difference we're going to face, we're going to see in the Windows 11 interface in terms of features, in terms of, you know, the GUI in terms of tools, in terms of productivity, in terms of multitasking. So there were a lot of concern about the Windows 11 that how it helps and how it'll add more productivity to the work when you migrate from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and here in this following video series you are going to view, you're going to watch that we are going to highlight each and every aspect of Windows 11 each and every feature. And we will give you the understanding that this makes Windows 11 different from Windows 10. And you will notice that the point we were making and the things we were discussing throughout these videos were different and you will find this course more interesting and with full of details and information and the practical hands-on as well because we will show you how things could be done and how things could be managed in the Windows 11 environment that you already manage in Windows 10 environment. Now let's start from the features and basic improvements on the Windows 11 because it brings a modern refresh design and a host of new feature and improvement over its predecessor Windows 10. Now, initially in the start that what sort of features that you're going to interact because when you, you know, log into the windows when you open your machine and when suddenly The machine starts, you see what, you see new interfaces, you see wit gets personalized feeds, you see different graphics. So that will really affect you and that will make huge impact on the user who is using the Windows 11 or any operating system first time. Why? Because when you interact with the windows on the first time, you always see the colors, you always see the graphics. And let me tell you that Windows 11 is full of graphics and full of designs and new menus and new, you know, quiet boxes, circular boxes and you know, new icons. So there are a lot of different stuff that you're going to find and that will just make your eyes soft and smooth while you are working on Windows 11. Now for this video we just start with the Windows 11 machine and we will start just explaining and showing you these features and improvement. But after this video we will show you that how you can access Windows 11 machine because if you don't have Windows 11 in your laptop or in your PCs, so how could you get the Windows 11 machine from the Azure portal? So this will give you a combinational learning of the Azure platform and the Azure Windows 11 vm. So we will show you how to deploy that Windows 11 VM and what properties and what parameters are really need to configure. And you need to be more specific while providing the basic detail for Windows 11 vm. So later on in the next video we are going to show you that how you can deploy Windows 11 vm, but right now we are just starting with the Windows 11. So it would be good and it would be better for you to have the Windows 11 interface on the screen in the first video. And we just start with the first view first using of Windows 11 environment, how it's look like and how it makes a difference and how it differs from Windows 10 in terms of graphics, in terms of new user interface and design and productivity. Because there it's so much more that is coming in this video series. Now let's switch to our Azure VM that we have already deployed. But in the next video we will start from the Azure environment where we are going to show you that how you can get the Windows 11 vm, how you get this license and trial license to get started with the Azure and how you can install and deploy the Windows 11 VM and then how you can access. And from that moment we will give you the overview and understanding that how things roll out once you install the Windows 11 new Windows 11 on your device. Alright, so without further ado, let's open the Windows 11 vm. Now this is, this is how it's look like once you install the Windows 11 in your device. Now currently you can see that it requires some basic and initial second settings to start. And right now you can see the privacy setting which is required for the Windows 11 environment. And this were totally same in Windows 10 as well, but here you can see the looks, the graphics, the colors, the background all are really different as compared to the Windows 10. So let's proceed with the default settings. We are not making any critical or major change to these settings. And there you go, that once you open the Windows 11 machine for the first time, you are going to see what the start menu that is by default open. Now here have a look on the start menu and the task bar because the start menu has been redesigned with the centered layout. You can see providing a cleaner and more steam lined look, it removes the live titles introduce a simple grid of app icons and a recommended section. And the task bar is also centered by default offering a fresh and balanced look. So this is really new thing that you are experiencing in Windows 11 os that all the icons are available in the center like you are, you know, habitual of using this sort of interface in your mobile phones, in your handheld devices. So the windows is evolving and Microsoft is, you know, evolving with the market needs and with the new trends. Now also you can see there's a new icon for the start because it has been changed and sometimes we call it a start charm and it is really developed and change. Now if you click to the folder option, but before that, if you click to the start, so you're going to see the applications, the recently used application and the pin application here because you can see that in the start menu if you start pin each and every application. So it'll become a lot of applications that are pinned here. So if you click here and you, you're gonna see that whatever application you pin will be available here. And if you want to see all the apps like you do in the Windows 10 environment, so you have to click here on all apps and then you will have the list of application that are installed in your Windows 11 os. So have a look and you can see the list of application and it looks more elegant and more satisfying as compared to the Windows 10 environment. And here's the username and if you want to restart or power off your machine, you can click directly to the start. So it's look like that. And the same options that you get when you right click on the start in the Windows 10 are available here, like the power option, Evan viewer, device manager. So all these options are pretty much same when you compare it to the Windows 10. Then if you open the file explorer, because the second thing you open on the newly installed Windows is my computer in the previous OS of the windows. But right now, since Windows 10 that you need to go and you open the file explorer to access my computer thing. That was the legacy thing, which you find in the previous OS version of the windows like Windows xp, windows 98, windows seven, where you have this my computer thing where you click on the my computer and you start getting the details of your attached devices, your rom. And it is pretty much same when you click to this PC and the word and the, and the, you know, terminology has been changed a little, but when you click to this PC, you will have the details of your devices and drives which are here. But here you can notice that the icons or change system icons and visuals has been updated to provide a consistent and fresh look throughout the operating system. And that will frequently gives you the message that something is new, something has been changed. Why? Because when you see the different icon, and it also happens when you change a theme on your old windows, like on the Windows 10. And if you change the theme on your Windows 10, so you will start feeling new, right? You feel that the things are changed and more elegant and looking beautiful and it it, it looks satisfying. Why? Because icons are changed and that is what happened here that they have changed the icon that frequently gives you the message that you are in the new os. And here you can see this title bar and the view bar. All these bar are looks like different when you compare it to Windows 10. Like if you click to the details you can see things like that. And that makes it more beautiful and more satisfying and more elegant and more fresh. Look what you add in the phrase of Windows 11. Then you can see the picture icon, the music folder, the videos all looks totally new. And here you can see when you click to the home there's a home icon against this option. And this is your file explorer looks like. And if you go back to this pc, so this is how it looks like and there's a bit change in the folder icon as well you can see right now and which you can notice here from start menu. You can also notice from here as well that the folder icon has been changed quite a bit. And what if you right click on the desktop. So you will see these option. But if you want to go to your legacy option that you get when you right click on the Windows 10 desktop. So you need to click on show more option and it's gonna open the the legacy, the same or context menu. And you can notice that the rounded corners and fluid design like Windows 11 adopts a more cohesive design language with rounded corners. New icon, enhanced transparency effect, contributing to a more modern and a testicle pleasing user interface. Let's say if you click to the window, and this is the desktop one, the screen one that has been used by the user one and if you wanted to add the new desktop, so you can add like that. And if you have multiple, you know, screens, so you can manage these desktop screens on your multiple screen at the same time. And if you don't have the multiple screen, so you can use these different desktop on your single screen, but both of the desktops are separated from each other. And here you are getting what this is the virtual desktop and your Windows 11 allows you for the creation of these multiple virtual desktop, which now be personalized with different wallpaper. Because let's say if we are using this desktop and if you wanted to make change on the desktop too, so we can specifically change the wallpaper, we can organize this desktop as what we want. So let's say if I set this background on my desktop too and if I want to check that, whether this has changed the wallpaper of my desktop one. So there it is, there's no change on your desktop one. So the virtualization with the desktop become more efficient and more dynamic. In Windows 11 where you are managing virtual desktop separately from each other, you know that you can make any changes to the other desktops and it it behaves totally different interface of the same user session. So this is what that makes it different. And this feature has been enhanced in the Windows 11. So there are a lot of features that in the coming videos we are going to show you. We are going to give you the understanding and you will enjoy that how things are developed and become more dynamic in the Windows 11 environment.
